August Meeting Schedule for Den 1

Alright Den 1 Scouts - it's time to begin again.

Monday, August 16, 6:15 p.m. - Den 1 meeting. This is our first meeting, and we'll get right into the swing of things. Wear your new blue neckerchief, and bring your Bear Handbook. Complete pages 3 and 4 of this handout.

Saturday, August 21, 3 p.m. - Pack Cookout (see details below.)

Monday, August 23, 6:15 p.m. - Den 1 meeting.

Tuesday, August 31, 7 p.m. - Pack meeting. The theme is beach party. Weather permitting we will be outside by the St. Marks Gym.  We will have watermelon, games, music and fun.  Please wear your favorite beach attire/Hawaiian shirts etc.  DO NOT WEAR YOUR UNIFORM!

DUES this year are $100 for everyone that is new comers and returning members.  The dues can be split into 2 payments.  First installment is needed at the September Pack meeting.  The second installment is needed at January 25th at the Pack meeting before the pinewood derby. 

In October, we handle the Pack flag ceremony.

3 p.m. Saturday, August 21 - BACK TO SCHOOL COOKOUT AT OPTIMIST LODGE, at the end of Arrowhead Trail.
Den 1 Bears brings desserts
Bring fishing poles if you have them and other fun activities. This is a "no agenda" meeting to gather and have fun.
