Hi Scouters!
We had a Pack leaders meeting and set this schedule for upcoming meetings and events. Of course it can change as any event gets closer - but put these on your calendar!
Tuesday, August 28 - 6:30 p.m. - Pack meeting - an outdoor cookout with fun events to begin a fun year. Scouts should wear their Pack T-shirt and shorts or swim trunks because they may get wet.
Sunday, September 9 - We can help St. Marks and the Reservoir Fire Department with a 9/11 Memorial. They have asked us to help set up flags along an 11 mile course that is part of a family event. Details TBD.
Mondays, Sept. 10 and 17 - 6:30 p.m. - Den meetings
Tuesday, Sept. 25 - 7:00 p.m. - Pack meeting - we will perform the flag ceremony, a skit and a song.
Mondays, October 1 and 15 - 6:30 p.m. - Den meetings
Friday-Sunday, October 26-28 - Pack Campout at Springwater Ranch in Rankin County.
Tuesday, October 30 - 7:00 p.m. - Pack meeting
Mondays, November 5 and 19 - 6:30 p.m. - Den meetings
Tuesday, November 27 - 7:00 p.m. - Pack meeting
Mondays, December 3 and 17 - 6:30 p.m. - Den meetings
(Probably the Brandon Christmas Day Parade, too, but that date isn't on the City of Brandon website)
Mondays, January 7 and 21 - 6:30 p.m. - Den meetings
Saturday, January 12 - Pinewood Derby Build Day
Saturday, January 26 - Pinewood Derby Race
Tuesday, January 29 - 7:00 p.m. - Pack meeting
Mondays, February 4 and 18 - 6:30 p.m. - Den meetings
Saturday, February 23 - Blue and Gold banquet - this will be our Den's to plan. This is the evening that Den 1 Scouts change from Webelos to Boy Scouts. After this, our Scouts stop attending Pack 576 meetings and begin attending Troop 416 meetings.
